the brand

our idea of circular & sustainable living through mindful use of products is deeply inspired by practices like zen meditation and nature - in our case the vulcanite scenery of the canary islands which serves as a humble reminder of the delicate balance between human actions and the natural world. it’s this balance that guides our mission, urging us to rethink how we consume, repair, and cherish our possessions.

in the spirit of zen, which teaches us the value of mindfulness and simplicity, we strive to foster a deeper connection between our daily lives and the environment. our approach, much like the gentle flow of watercolors on paper - inspired by a local designer - encourages a thoughtful reconsideration of how we interact with the products we use. each decision to repair or reuse is seen not just as an act of conservation, but as a step towards painting a more sustainable future for our planet.

the origin

let’s shortly travel in time: after the second world war, somewhere in the middle of germany – the grandfather of co-founder & ceo built his own house for his family with his own hands and the simplest means. there can be no talk of excess here – cherishing and caring for things instead of throwing them away is the mindset, as well as keeping everything in good condition as a precaution, repairing or otherwise using it. buying a new one is not an option.

when you grow up with this mindset, you look at products with a different perspective. everything is in abundance these days. often it is simply more convenient to buy something new instead of tormenting yourself through customer service, which is usually too expensive or poorly available.

the idea of fix1 is to reconnect with that mindset – to use products longer and make sure, they get fixed at least once during their lifetime by taking a fix first mindest and taking easy action by starting with one product, today.

our experienced team has set itself the goal of making repair easier, faster more accessible for everyone. to achieve this, we're ending the throw-away world by making repair & circularity >47% easier through enabling others with our ai-powered B2B(2C) platform - manifested in our brand fix1.

45% of all emissions are caused by the production of products. so by 2030, we will therefore produce about 180 gigaton of co2. if we repair every product just once during its life cycle... we can extend the usage time by at least 2 years. this alone will save about 45 gigaton of co2 by 2030. that's almost all global emissions of a year!!!
